POOKA IN THE WOODS is a wonderful pre-holiday event for children and adults. The theatre is transformed into a magical forest where dancers turn into swans, aerial creatures become old ladies, and the Pooka (part human - part animal spirit) leads everyone in a celebration of the Harvest. Janet Taisey Craft directs and choreographs along with Company dancers, Jenny Carlson, Jennifer Beauchamp, Amanda Belanger, Danielle DiVito, Annmarie Hauck, Elizabeth Silveira, and five young guest dancers, with live Celtic music led by Sarah Cantor. The audience is invited to an informal question and answer session with the Company immediately following each performance.
