AERIAL WORKSHOP

$55 for a single, $100 for two.

Over the course of the Saturday workshop, we plan to work
with canvas slings, looped climbing rope, and eventually work both
sling and rope together.

We'll begin with solo work and eventually move into duets and trios.
The first workshop will focus on canvas slings, with an introduction
to ropes at the end of the session.

Plan to wear dance attire (make sure not too loose), bare feet, and
bring jazz or ballet shoes or a flexible rubber soled shoe (for work
in the ropes).

You might want to bring something that covers your upper arms and
leggings down past your knees.

After 25 years of performing and teaching Aerial Dance, we are excited to be offering our second SUMMER AERIAL DANCE INTENSIVE!  The One-Week Intensive will be held at the Ipswich Moving Company Studio in the beautiful coastal town of Ipswich, Massachusetts:

The intensive is open to teen and adult dancers, but enrollment is limited to ensure each participant receives a highly-individualized Aerial Dance experience.

We invite you to come be inspired and explore the daring world of Aerial Dance under the direction of Janet Taisey Craft and Jenny Carlson.  Experience Ipswich Moving Company's unique Aerial Dance with Canvas Slings and Looped Climbing Rope, learn the Company's Aerial Dance vocabulary, and explore your own improvisational Aerial Dance styles!

Intensive Schedule:
• Learn Company Repertory in rope and sling during the morning aerial technique classes from 9am-12pm, followed by a lunch break.
• Supervised practice time in the aerial equipment from 12:30-2:30pm.
• The Workshop will culminate with an Aerial Dance Performance by the students on the last day.

The cost of the one-week Aerial Dance Intensive is $500. 00 
Housing with breakfast and lunch for five days is   $350.00
