After Twenty-five years of performing and teaching Aerial Dance, we are excited to be offering our first Summer Aerial Dance Intensive!
 
The One-week Intensive will be held at the Ipswich Moving Company Studio in the beautiful coastal town of Ipswich, Massachusetts:

The Intensive is open to teen and adult dancers and enrollment is limited to ensure each participant receives a highly individualized Aerial Dance experience.

We invite you to come be inspired and explore the daring world of Aerial Dance under the direction of Janet Taisey Craft and Jenny Carlson. Experience Ipswich Moving Company’s unique aerial dance with canvas slings and looped climbing rope, learn the Company’s aerial dance vocabulary, and explore your own improvisational aerial styles. 

Intensive Schedule:
* Aerial technique classes 9am-12pm, followed by a lunch break.
* Learn Company Repertory in rope and sling.
* One on one coaching and supervised practice time 12:30-2:30pm.
* An Aerial Dance Performance by the students on the last day.

The cost of the one-week Aerial Dance Intensive is $500.   

Housing is available upon request for dancers from outside the local area.  In addition to participating in the Aerial Dance Intensive, dancers can enjoy the many attractions of coastal Ipswich including: Crane Beach, Local Art Galleries, Hiking Trails, Nature Preserves, and River Kayaking.
